ZBrush is a 3D modeling program created by Pixologic. A distinctive feature of this software is an imitation of the process of "modeling" three-dimensional sculpture, enhanced by the engine of three-dimensional rendering in real time, which greatly simplifies the process of creating the required three-dimensional object.
Each point (called a pixel) contains information not only about its XY coordinates and color values, but also the Z depth, orientation, and material. This means that you not only can "sculpt" a three-dimensional object, but also "paint" it by drawing strokes with depth. But you don't have to paint shadows and highlights to look natural - ZBrush does it automatically. It also works quickly with standard 3d objects, using brushes to modify the geometry of materials and textures. Allows you to achieve interactivity with a large number of polygons. Using special methods, you can raise the detail to tens (or even hundreds) of millions of polygons. There are also many plug-ins (work with textures, geometry, many new brushes, quick integration with professional 2d graphics packages and much more).
